Victorian Agriculture Minister, Joe Helper has launched the Horticulture Industry Network, a joint initiative of the Victorian Department of Primary Industries and Victorian Horticulture Associations.

This State Government initiative sees the appointment of Vegetable Industry Development Officers to assist growers across Victoria.

The program was officially launched at Wandin by the Victorian Agriculture Minister, Joe Helper. “This is a major step towards ensuring producers have ready access to targeted and relevant support services”, said Mr Helper.

“The IDO’s will assist industries and associations increase their ability to respond to issues such as low water availability, climate change and biosecurity”, Mr Helper said.
