Leadership Program

A National program begins in 2009 to build more leadership capacity in the Australian vegetable industry.

The course is tailored to developing leadership plans for your business, industry and private life.

The 2009 Vegetable Industry Leadership Course is subsidised by HAL and funded through the National Vegetable Levy.

Program costs are only $500 per participant which includes most meals, training materials and learning support.

The 2009 Strategic Leadership program will be delivered through three residential sessions:-

First Residential        24–26 Feb (3 days) - Devonport
Second Residential   26–28 May (3 days) - Melbourne
Third Residential       18–20 Aug (3 days) - Canberra

The six month/nine day course will help develop your:

  • Leadership skills including - conflict management, team building, personalities, networking and effective meetings.
  • Confidence in leading groups at all levels in the industry – workplace, organisation, teams and community groups.

  • Skills in working in teams, understanding personalities, managing projects and people and communicating effectively,

  • Industry contacts

  • Goal setting concepts to develop pathways that are challenging and relevant to your situation.

People involved at all levels of the Australian vegetable industry are invited to register their interest.
