Vegetable growers in the Sunraysia region are invited to hear the latest information on preparations for the locust outbreak, predicted for late September.
As vegetable production is at a high risk, it is important for growers to have the latest information regarding the strategy and chemicals to be used to combat the outbreak.

Find out about the 100% rebate on the purchase price of chemicals used by eligible landholders for the treatment of plague locust hoppers in spring and summer.
Here details of the locust management strategy that has been developed by government agencies.
Information will also be provided on chemicals, including those that have minor use approval.
